Built For The Work. Designed for the Details

Introducing, The Working Details, a video series from MJE Livestock Equipment. From smarter cattle flow to heavy-duty construction, discover the details behind equipment designed for real-world cattle operations.

When you’re working cattle, the little things can make a big difference. From the way an alley adjusts to the placement of a gate latch, every detail has a job to do.

That’s the idea behind The Working Details, a video series from MJE Livestock Equipment.

We’re taking you beyond the steel for a closer look at the features, functionality, and practical thinking behind our equipment. Each episode highlights the details that help improve cattle flow, operator safety, efficiency, and everyday performance.

Because equipment built for real-world work should be designed with the details in mind.

Small details can make a huge difference when working cattle.

At MJE the working details are about keeping cattle safe and showing how the products work. This series from MJE Livestock Equipment gives a closer look of the features that are built in the equipment and why they matter when the equipment is being put to work. From the way a component is designed to the way it performs, each episode focuses on important details that can make handling cattle more efficient, dependable, and straightforward.

The Panel Trailer

Moving panels from one place to another takes equipment that can handle the road and the work waiting on the other side. Take a closer look at MJE’s portable panel trailers and the details that make them versatile for farmers, ranchers, and other operations. From reinforced corners and additional bracing to a diamond-shaped frame designed to distribute weight, the trailer is built to provide a smooth, durable pull when moving panels across highways, rough roads, and pasture terrain.

The trailer is designed to carry different types and sizes of panels, giving producers the flexibility to move what they need, where they need it. Securement features, tie-down points, and a torsion bar axle add to the trailer’s functionality while helping protect the equipment during transport.

The Stationary Load Chute

When loading cattle the right setup can make a difference in safety, cattle flow, and the long -term durability of the working facility. Take a closer look at MJE’s Elite Stationary Loadout Chute, designed for operations looking for a permanent, durable chute. From the heavy-duty catwalk and handrail, to the pivot plate that helps with uneven truck backing, each detail is built around making the loading process safer and more efficient.

The Elite Stationary Loadout also features easy access to cattle, secure pin-clip connections, and a design that makes cleaning and preventative maintenance straightforward. Built with heavy-duty materials made to handle the demands of high-use cattle facilities.

The Feedlot-Grade Alley

The right alley can make a difference when moving cattle. In this series we take a closer look at MJE’s feedlot-grade alley, designed for larger operations with stationary working facilities and built with the heavy-duty construction needed for demanding cattle work. From the double-to- single alley configuration to the sheet-metal sides, each detail is designed to help keep cattle moving forward safely and efficiently.

Walk through the adjustable alley, no-back system, and the small details that help keep cattle calm as they move through the system. These alleys are built to handle the demands of everyday cattle handling.

The Calf Table

Working calves can be very demanding, especially when you’re handling large numbers. In this series of The Working Details, we take a closer look at MJE’s hydraulic calf table and how its design is built to make working calves safer, more efficient, and easier on the operator.

See how the hydraulic calf table gives the operator better access to the calf while keeping the animal secured and at a workable height. We’ll also walk through features that make the table easy to move, adjust, maintain, and use throughout the season.
