We’re on the hunt for a reliable, organized, and forward-thinking Purchasing & Logistics Assistant to join our team. This role is vital to ensure our operations run smoothly—from sourcing the right materials to getting them where they need to be, on time and on budget.

What You'll Be Doing
Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, and equipment needed for production and sales
Manage relationships with suppliers and freight providers to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including freight quotes, documentation, and tracking
Monitor inventory levels and proactively plan for restocking or special order needs
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, receipts, and supplier performance
Collaborate with sales, operations, and warehouse teams to align purchasing with business needs
Assist in improving logistics and procurement processes for efficiency and cost savings
Assist with inside sales and web sales
What You Bring to the Table
Experience in logistics, procurement, supply chain, or inventory management (agriculture or industrial sector a plus)
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
ERP/inventory software and QuickBooks software experience is a bonus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
