Description
The Elite portable loading chute is built around a sturdy 4” x 6.25 lb channel iron frame. The ramp is 12’ long and constructed from 3/16” plate welded to be strong and quiet. Ramp sides are constructed with a combination of 14-gauge round and square tubing with 2 rows of saddled verticals. They are sheeted up 27″ off the ramp. The 1” solid square crossbar cleats are welded on 12” centers and offer better traction than most round-shaft traction bars. This chute comes standard with a galvanized grip strut catwalk on the LH side and has the option of easily adding one to the RH side. The chute is raised and lowered with a uniquely designed crank system that makes transitioning from towing to loading simple. The tow hitch can swing out of the way when in the load position. The front of the chute is equipped with a 3/8” thick truck pivot to allow for uneven trailer contact. The chute rides on a 4,000 lb torsion axle with 16” x 8 bolt wheels and new radial tires. These tires are covered with heavy-duty fenders for safe use and towing. This chute travels smoothly down the highway or up and down rough trails. This portable chute weighs 2,040 lbs.
