NCBA Trade Show Recap: 8,000 Attendees, Big Connections, and One Heck of a Show
Another NCBA #CattleCon is in the books, and what a week it was! With nearly 9,000 attendees walking the floor, we had the chance to shake a lot of hands, catch up with old friends, and introduce plenty of folks to the kind of cattle-handling equipment that makes life easier.

A Game Changer: Launching the Cattle Worth™ App
One of the biggest highlights of NCBA 2024 was the official launch of our brand-new app, Cattle Worth™—and to say it made waves would be an understatement. Ranchers and cattle buyers flocked to our booth to see live demos, test it out, and download it on the spot.
With up to 97% accuracy in beta testing, Cattle Worth™ allows users to snap a quick photo of their cattle and instantly receive a highly accurate weight estimate and real-time market valuation—straight from their smartphone. No scales, no guessing, just data-driven insights at your fingertips.
The excitement on the trade show floor proved what we already knew—this app is going to change the game. If you didn’t get a chance to check it out at NCBA, don’t worry! It’s available right now in the App Store, and will soon launch on Google Play for Android users.

Showcasing What Works
The All-New Hydraulic Calf Table got a ton of attention, and for good reason. If you’re still manhandling calves instead of working smarter, this thing will change your life. One-person operation, smooth pivot action, and a stress-free way to brand, tag, and vaccinate—it’s a no-brainer.
We also had The Conquistador out in full force, showing ranchers how mobile and efficient a solid wheel corral can be. Bottom line? If you’re working cattle, we’ve got equipment that works as hard as you do.
Time Well Spent with Our Dealers
One of the best parts of NCBA is the time we get to spend with our dealer network. Many of our dealers were in attendance, and we had the chance to sit down, strategize, and strengthen those relationships in person. It’s one thing to talk over the phone or through emails—it’s another to shake hands and share ideas face-to-face.
Even better? Many of those dealers were able to close deals right there in our booth, helping ranchers get outfitted with the equipment they need to make their operations run smoother. Seeing that kind of momentum at the show reinforces how valuable our dealer network is—not just to us but to the entire industry.
Business, Beef, and Good Company

Trade shows like NCBA aren’t just about showing off equipment—they’re about connecting with the people who keep this industry running. We had great conversations with current and potential dealers, shook hands with ranchers from all over, and had a few laughs in between.
San Antonio treated us right, even if the weather kept Justin Hendrickson, our Senior Operations Manager at MJE, LLC, from making the trip. We missed having him there, but the crew held it down. And after long days on the show floor, we did what cattle folks do best—gathered around the table, enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak, and reflected on the work we do.
At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about. The cattle industry means so much to so many people across America—not just because of tradition, but because it’s the backbone of rural communities, hard work, and feeding families. Sitting down over a good steak in San Antonio, surrounded by people who live and breathe this industry, was a reminder of why we do what we do.
Until Next Time
All in all, connecting at NCBA is a vital part of our business. We appreciate every person who took the time to stop by our booth, ask questions, and see firsthand what sets MJE Livestock Equipment apart. If you didn’t catch us at the show, no worries—you can always find us online.
