Designed by cattlemen. Proven in big yards.
CattleLine pulls from more than 50 years of feedyard and dairy projects at MJE. The same principles that move thousands of head safely and efficiently power these ranch-ready systems.
- Flow that works. Layouts follow how cattle move. Not where a chute happens to fit.
- Commercial DNA. Big-yard design logic sized for ranch and cow-calf work.
- Safer crews. Calmer cattle. Clear sight-lines and handler access. Single file entries at the right time.
- Modular and future-proof. Start smart. Expand as you grow.
- Built to last. Heavy-duty components that handle real weather and real work.
- 100% made in America with domestic steel.

What is CattleLine™?
CattleLine is our modular cattle working facility line. It applies big yard design to ranch-ready systems. The lineup includes Select, Choice, Prime, and Reserve Packages that you can tailor to your herd, crew, and ground.
-
Which CattleLine Tier should I start with?
- Select for less than 75 head and smaller crews.
- Choice for 75-150 head or anyone upgrading from pieced panels.
- Prime for 150-250 head and larger crews that work more often.
- Reserve for 250-500 plus with advanced sorting and loadout needs.

Can someone design a custom facility for me?
You bet! The first step is to take the initial quiz. When you receive your answers, you can then fill out a more thorough intake form to get started.
-
What components are in a typical system?
Common building blocks include sweep tubs, straight adjustable alleys, block or slider doors, palpation cages, and a quality chute.
-
Can I buy individual parts instead of a full system?
Yes. Dealers can sell individual components as stand-alone items. Packages are simply starting points. We will tailer to your place.
-
Do you offer a Double to Single alley?
Yes. The Double to Single Adjustable Alley is available in Reserve and as an upgrade path where the flow calls for it. It helps two wide merge to one deep with fewer balks.
-
Do you support a Bud style setup?
Yes. Most ranches pick a sweep tub for simplicity, but a Bud Tub or Bud Box option can be designed when it fits the crew and the cattle. Your designer will recommend the right entry for your work style.
-
Will CattleLine tie into my existing pens or barn?
Yes. Every system is modular. We can size alleys and openings to your current pens and buildings so you do not have to start from scratch.
-
Do I need concrete?
No. Dirt or gravel works. Concrete is helpful in high traffic spots like the chute pad and loadout. We will advise on footing and drainage so winter days are safer.
-
What chutes are compatible?
We often pair with Pearson or Silencer chutes. We can adapt to most major brands. Tell us what you have and we will fit the interface.
-
Can I add calving or vet features?
Yes. We can integrate a maternity pen, palpation access, and a hydraulic calf table with scale. Tell us what you need during intake.
-
How many people does it take to run?
Select and Choice work well for one person or a small crew. Prime and Reserve support higher volume while keeping positions safe and sight lines clear.
-
What does a system cost?
It depends on tier and options. After the quiz, we can share a ballpark and then tailor a plan and quote for your location. Section 179 may help during year end.
-
What happens after I take the quiz?
You get a tier match by taking the first quiz.
When you’re done, you can answer a few more questions on our design intake form to send more details to our design team. We can also connect you with an Authorized Dealer for a site walk and quote.
-
Who will contact me?
MJE or an Authorized Dealer will reach out by your preferred method. If needed we may share your info with a dealer to help with design, quoting, or install. We do not sell personal information.
